The Viareggio Cup is one of the world's most pretigious youth soccer tournaments held in the Tuscan city of Viareggio, Italy. The annual tournament which first began in 1949 is officially recognized by FIFA, UEFA, FIGC, and CONCACAF and includes clubs such as Juventus, AC Milan, Inter, AS Roma, Fiorentina, Napoli, Anderlecht, and PSV Eindhoven. The tournament has produced world class players such as Francesco Totti, Andrea Pirlo, Alessandro Del Piero, Roberto Baggio, Edinson Cavani, and Philipp Lahm.
As one of the few American teams participating in the Viareggio Cup, United Youth Soccer Stars of NY offers an extraordinary opportunity for young American soccer players to pursue their dream of playing professionally. The tournament allows players to compete at the highest level of international soccer while providing a showcase for European scouts watching the various matches.
